Chicken Soup For The Anal Retentive Soul
Lists make me happy - sort of like chicken soup for the anal retentive soul. I have an on-going compilation of an alphabetical list of Things I Love. (No entries as yet for the letters q, v, y and z however.)
This year, I ended my attendance of two major film festivals here with a more or less satisfactory list of movies.
From Out Takes 2005:
+ Hu Die (Butterfly)
+ Carisma (Charisma)
+ Clara cet Été-là (Clara's Summer)
+ Crush
+ Getting To Know You
+ Give Or Take An Inch
+ Hummer
+ Not Straight Forward
+ Risk
+ Sister Lulu
+ Sleeping On The Floor (aborted screening due to mid-way disc failure)
+ Till Death Do Us Part
From Telecom 34th Film Festival:
+ 9 Songs
+ Banana In A Nutshell
+ Café Lumière
+ Hari Om
+ Inside Deep Throat
+ My Summer Of Love
+ The Wayward Cloud
+ Tibbar
My favorite films from each festival would be Butterfly and Hari Om (even if in the latter, I rue that unka pyaar adhuuraa hai).
:::
Another thing that makes me happy: buying Fat Freddy's Drop's Based On A True Story for just $23 at The Warehouse - great price for awesome music! (Okay, so I have a laughably lacking vocabulary ... Things I Love: A: Alliteration.)
:::
One thing that will make me happy: being gifted with a ticket to a good seat for Lashings of Whipped Cream.
