'Don't Answer Me'
The longer the search, the sweeter the find ... I think I really live for moments like these; the reason I spend my life just searching, searching, searching. Books, songs, toys - whatever; I just keep on searching.
Finally finding suitably well-worn copies of The Liar and Phantom, finally finding my childhood Keyper - indescribably immense joy.
Today, I finally found Alan Parsons Project's 'Don't Answer Me' - ecstatic joy! It is one of those songs I heard as a teenager and have been searching ever since; I'm still searching for many other songs and books and stuff - my life's Quest, it seems.
There is one thing I realize from all my searching - I live in the past, hopelessly entrenched in many a bygone moment in time that I am inexplicably drawn to (and think it happier and more beautiful).
There is one thing I hope for in all my searches - that if and when I finally find that Someone (who my unfortunately and unrealistically romantic heart imagines to be the seperated half of my soul - Zeus be damned), it would be The Sweetest Thing.
Will I be lost?
Will I be found?
Is there One to whom
my soul is bound?
