Dreads And Specs

The second time this trimester I've sat next to her in the LT, I found out her name is ... Anna.

Anna, too - Anna II. (Anna II is pronounced differently than the first Anna's - the latter, being German, is pronounced with a long a; i.e. Ahn-na.)

I love that dreads and specs combination of Anna II's; I've always had a thing for people who are able to carry the dreads and specs look off. The dreads say, I'm laidback, yo, and the specs continue, but I'm not all spaced out with the pot and cannabis, mind. (Okay, so maybe I'm playing to certain stereotypes.)

The first time I saw Anna II, I thought she looked so serious and so intellectual she actually intimidated me. And the rings on her fingers - wow. Because I'd sat to her left both times, I never got to see her right hand, but her left hand is completely bejeweled - rings on all four fingers and the thumb. Does she have a nose stud or any facial piercings? I didn't notice - but I hope so.

Hot damn.

Assertive and brainy and cool women - just gotta love 'em.

And when they manifest with dreads and specs, color me infatuated.
