How - and why - is it possible to still harbor a crush on that Someone whom you haven't seen in nearly half a year, who may not even be in the same geographical zone as you?

How - and why - is it that, with the short-term memory that you have, you still remember their smile, the child-like way they speak (an adorable result of not speaking English as a first language), the ring in their ear, the rings on their fingers ... their winks.

It was just a silly little crush - it was supposed to be a passing infatuation ...
