Learning Negatively

I don't have a big enough vocabulary or enough basic intellect to come up with a more concise and more apt word/phrase. Basically, it means I never learn about what is.

For me to learn about what is, I have to go by the circuitous - sometimes torturously arduous - route of elimination: I don't learn what is; I have to learn what is by eliminating what isn't.

Most of the time, the process of elimination just doesn't cut it - there're, like, just way too many things that face possible elimination; but I suppose that's when guess work comes in - guessing without any real clues.

Sometimes, I think it'd be nice if life's a multiple-choice question: if something's not a or b or c, then it must be d.

I feel like I'm grasping at straws the way I'm going. Not a or c or g or l? Then it could any one of the rest of the twenty-two letters of the English alphabet, or an Arabic numeral, or a punctuation, or a symbol, or ...

All I only know is, it's not a or c or g or l.

Life is a trial; I make all the errors: I'm not getting any wiser.
